installing 5/16 plenum spacer.
So I'm installing the plenum spacer on my g in a couple days. I noticed motordyne instructions has certain torque specifications on some bolts (40 inlb - 100 inlb).
For all those who have done this installation, did you guys actually use a torque wrench to meet these specs? Or do you think my own judgment will suffice?
I just don't want to spend another 200 bucks on a torque wrench but I also don't want anything to go wrong with the engine because of a loose bolt. haha.

i never use a torque wrench - i do it by hand with no problems. You need to realize that when its tight you're good and not to keep torquing it though. Easy to cause problems by over-wrenching these bolts.
Go over all the bolts multiple times to make sure they are all snug to the same level and you'll be fine.

Yup, I use this method or even a small (1/4" drive) ratchet and like willey says, tighten in sequence by small increments and stop when it's tight!
I've used a torque wrench every time. If I couldn't procure one I'd probably try the methods the guy above said, but if you can borrow one from someone or somewhere, I'd go that route to be safe.
I went out and bought a torque wrench after reading the instructions from Motordyne. I also use it when reinstalling my wheels but "snug" is probably good enough in both areas.... however it never hurts to have the "right tool!"
