Exactly, its just our opinions

I disagree with those that say this thread is unnecessary and just a matter of what look you prefer. There are significant differences between the two cars other than the number of doors and its shape. Of course the model years on these cars are out of phase and that complicates things. The sedan went through a model change in 07 while the 07 coupe is similar (maybe identical to the 06?). So you do have to take into account model year as well but the 07 sedan and 07 coupe and very different.

And from first hand experience the 06 coupe is very very different from an 07 sedan. Totally different beasts and the number of doors is a small part of that.

i took the sedan mainly so that i have more space to take stuff around for example my turntables and such, a coupe would be my 2nd car though

It IS unnecessary because there is a thread about this exact topic made about once a week. And they always turn into pi$$ing matches about which is better, 2 dr or 4 dr. Case in point... see above replies....

Again.. common sense would tell a normal person to decide for themselves whether or not you need the extra 2 doors, not everyone else on the Interwebz

First off, its not a pi$$ing contest until someone starts pi$$ing. Thanks a lot.

Second, who cares if there have been other threads about this topic? Already different people with different perspectives have replied. There is value in that. The fact that someone else, somewhere else has pointed out that the coupe has 2 doors and the sedan has 4 is pretty irrelevant. It is even more irrelevant to have that pointed out. Again.

No, not "again". I've made it quite clear in my post that the number of doors is only one small difference in these cars. AGAIN, I have BOTH. I drive both regularly. There are many important differences between them other than the doors. I'm glad to discuss them with the OP, either here or via PM.

It is funny that people get so worked up about what they consider a duplicate topic. And it is so distressing to them that they feel compelled to jump in and make the thread longer and less meaningful. Which is what upsets them so much to begin with. Go figure.

George

This thread was pretty much answered with the first reply from npp23....

Pros and Cons have been discussed to death on this forum! And he wants advice.... Advice on what? Be a little more specific....

Maybe its me but when I'm looking for info on a vehicle I'm about to purchase I READ car forums for that specific make and model. I know exactly what I need the vehicle for and what its main purpose in MY life is, not what everyone else thinks. guess I just don't get posts like this or ones that ask "what car should I buy?". Buy the one you like and fits your lifestyle idiot.... Again common sense

OMG. You complain about pointless posts but continue to post about them to tell us how you don't get pointless posts. That seems, well, pointless.

You suggest doing research about what car you want but criticize the OP about finding this site, coming here and asking a question. And then call him an idiot.

Maybe its me
Yep.

OMG! Are you guys REALLY doing this thread AGAIN?!??!?

OP, search... it's been covered, covered again, covered from a different angle, covered in mud, dragged out of the mud, and covered some more. We DON'T need to do this anymore.

Also: Sedan drivers hating on coupes and coupe drivers hating on sedans, both of you need to shut up, it's ridiculous and you're making all of us look bad.

Personal preference for the millionth time. I bought a coupe because they appeal more to me. I like having two doors, I don't have a need for 4. I like the design better. Regardless, a tastefully modded sedan is just as good as a tastefully modded coupe. They are both great looking cars!

Call me crazy but the G35 coupe to me is the sexiest car under $50,000 but I do like sedan to, just not as much. Different strokes for different folks. I also have a BMW 335 and with it I went with a sedan cause its for the wife and plus I didn't see the need in having two coupes. I also think the 335 sedan looks better that the G35 sedan. Just my opnion.

yeah... what u like the most. I've owed mostly sedans: Acura legend sedan, Acura GSR sedan, wrx sti sedan... I decided to go with a coupe this time. I just wasn't a sedan kind of guy, I do hate it when I have passengers though. but its my daily driver and its normally me by myself. I don't like the sedans tail lights yuck.
My opinion

quick question I've seen that coupes hold value a little better is that correct? I mean I always see sedans for sale but hardly ever coupes and if any all automatic hardly ever 6mt

The 03-06 sedan don't look too pleasing. The 07-10 Sedan looks pretty good.

The 03-07 coupe looks better than the 08-10 coupe.
