Please explain exactly how the 05 sedan is uglier than the 06, I'm curious.

or whichever one came with the nicer front bumper. i dont pay much attention to g sedans. i thought the new bumpers came in 06+

^Perhaps you should refrain from commenting on things you "don't pay much attention to"

The 03/04 was availible with two different front bumpers.

The 05/06 have a slightly redesigned front end with only one front bumper, but an optional lip

And 07 is an entirely new body style.

Out of first gen sedans I like the '03-'04 Nismos the best, then '05-'06 with OEM lip, stock '05-'06, stock '03-'04.
