Quick Question - G35C Growl???
Hello I'm new. I'm looking to buy this g35c ASAP but I have a quick question considering I'm new to these cars. Its a 04 g35c, bone stock. Is it normal for these cars to have a growl while driving in low gears like first and second? I can't explain it other than it sounds like a growl. The owner said its normal, he is the original owner. Is this normal?

There's actually two growls, the exhaust of course which I don't believe you're referring to and when the VDC activates. My coupe sleeps in my garage so that's when I hear that particular noise/sound when starting her. Only lasts a second, although I've never timed it doesn't last long.... Yes, it's normal!

He said it was just the exhaust but I'm a DSM guy, I'm used to turbo 4g63s and g4cs hybrids. I've never been in a car like that before. I was going to buy an Evo8, a logical choice for a DSMer but I couldn't find a nice one. I've never been in a car that had an exhaust sound like that before. At first I though his brakes where eating up his rotors but his rotors looked fine.

Yeah that was what I was thinking of doing but I can't find another 6 speed manual g35c in my area. A newer model with a revup motor will sound the same as a 04 model right? Or do they sound a little different.
