2 INFINITI G35 2004 04 DUAL AUX ADAPTER 4 IPHONE/IPOD/MP3 $80

i am using a usa spec ipod adapter on my oem radio... are you getting the "cd err fo" message?.. if you are, chances are any ipod adapter wont work since it piggy backs on your cd system.. either have it fixed or go DD.. be ready for your a/c to turn on by itself, and you wont be able to control any of its functions.. the radio and a/c share the same circuit board..

Somebody please move this out of the G-Spot.
omegajimmy and DaveNYC - if the CD player in your car is starting to go out, it's not a good sign as to the longevity of your entire headunit. Putting money into anything that interfaces with the factory headunit is a bad investment, for when the rest of the headunit goes out, you'll either spend another few hundred replacing one broken factory headunit for another fragile, possibly soon-to-die factory headunit just to keep that adapter working, or spend the money on an aftermarket headunit.
Best to cut your losses now and get even an aftermarket replacement headunit - as cheap as $250 if you go with a single-din one and the Metra kit and don't keep the steering wheel buttons - that will support the iPod much more fully, and not be anywhere near as prone to failure as the factory headunit.

i replaced mine with another oem and is still good for 3 years now... but right after i got it, iv'e been using my usa spec ipod adapter ever since.. have not used the cd.. who uses cd's nowadays anyway.. i guess it's because less moving parts are being used in the cd player when you piggy back the ipod adapter..

and i only had single cd in there just to make sure the mechanical mechanism doesn't move much.. but it failed..
i think i will get a GROM USB with my next CD player.. damnit..
if i didn't have factory NAV, i would so go JDM DD...
