Question Help!!!

Ok so I got a scratch off thing from firestone and I get 50% off any purchase including tires. It has to be used by sunday. I dont know which tire to get though. I believe these are the only two performance tires they carry. Which one is better if I like to drive aggresively on occasion?

If I were you I'd invest in a winter set-up with a deal like that.

But if you were me you don't have any other car to drive when it snows, and it snows a lot here =P

Otherwise.. I dunno.. I wouldn't go with either, lol. Not a fan of Bridgestones... I believe the RE050's came stock so, maybe those?

Well according to tire rack the RE050>RE760.
The ratings show that the RE050 was a better performer while the 760 had better comfort ratings. I will say I had a different version of the RE050s from your link and they were noisy as hell. If its your DD I'd go with the RE760, after you put some miles on them they're gonna get loud so I'd go with the higher comfort ratings as the performance # were only slightly lower.

They aren't BAD. I know the RE050 are quite loud compared to any other tire I've experienced and whether or not you could deal with it is up to you. As jonnyd said, the 760 are more comfortable and suitable for DD, so it all depends on your taste. They're cheap and even cheaper with your discount, so why not go for one of them?

Get the Potenza RE050. But it really depends how aggressively you drive. If you autox, you're going to need better tires. But if you just like to give it more 'throttle' at lights, even crappy tires should hold. Not like they're going to pop or anything.

The RE050A will work fine if the price is as good as you're expectiing. Knowing how Firestone works they'll jack up their retail and you'll end up paying more than what the Tire Rack wants for the very same tires....be very carefull they're not giving anything away!

This is what I am thinking too....buy the most expensive tire they sell and sell them yourself for a profit. Then go buy tires you like somewhere else.

Good luck on that, youd probably lose trying to ship.
