ok im thinking about getting a borla muffler? do u think i should. i am thinking i am gonna keep my stock exhaust. but just changing the muffler to a borla. do u think it would sound nice or what?
I've heard of good things from borla and the Gs.
But I usually hate borla mixed with imports, I usually stick to the hella JDM companies ex. HKS
Up to you, but it depends on your goals for sound.

hmmm you ever heard the hks in person? I got that setup and it sounds nothing like ricey. If it did I would of got rid of it a long time ago and I'm pretty sure a lot of memebers feel the same way or they wouldn't be spending that much money on a hks to sound like a civic with fart cannons going down the street.

Oh come on people, I wouldn't put a Borla muffler on my Honda lawnmower! The restriction in our exhaust is within the OE cats, get HFCs and you'll not only pick up 10HP but the sound of your exhaust will be much deeper. Check our MARKETPLACE under verdor exhaust for Berks HFCs, they're worth the cost....

+1. Tanabe has a bunch of sound clips from various cars on their site. One of the few companies to take the time to do that. thumbs up to them! I've had their stuff on previous cars and i've always been happy with their stuff.

My Topspeed Pro exhaust was one of my favorite exhaust notes ever. Really deep throaty sound under 3,000RPM. But past that, the thing screamed. It was the old topspeed exhaust. The new ones look like HKS knockoffs so they probably don't sound as good. If you can find the older Topspeed exhaust, I say pick it up.
Realistically, sound chips do not let you know what an exhaust system sounds like. The sound you hear is only as good as the equipment it's recorded on and most they're $15= recorders from Wallyworld. To really experience what systems sound like you need to attend meets and talk to member about their systems, what are they running....OE cats/HFC's or test pipes. Since you're going to spend the $$ gain some knowledge....
