Exclamation *****Car Stalled For No Reason...?????*****

Has this happened to anyone..?

my car has become a garage queen. i never drive it anymore.. i got a new motor in January from the OC TSB and i've only driven it 5,000 miles since.. i bought a tacoma as a daily driver last week and i actually haven't driven my G for about 2 weeks..

i took it out tonight and it the clutch felt weird, i guess i'm use to driving the tacoma, anyhow.. i got about a mile away from my house and the stereo was bumping and all of sudden the dash lights came on.. ALL of EM..!! i turned down the radio, and noticed my power steering went out and i started braking to the stoplight.. i noticed the car was off... i started it back up, and it drove fine...

it was kinda sketchy that the car stalled and the power steering turned off..

has this happened to anyone..???? do you know what might have caused this..? i'm gunna do a search...

thankx..

Alf

after running a search.. i hear it could be from the MAF sensor reading a lot of air coming in thru the intake and since i was coasting down a hill without my pedal on the gas, the MAF sensor was reading the car to be running lean so it shut it off for safety.???????

i have a stock rev-up intake with k and n drop in with the SxExCx intake mod done to it.. i have never had that happen.. but i wonder if it not driving it for a while and not really warming it up much before driving had something to do with it.....??

Your car is angry with you for replacing it.

It probably is! She's jealous of you for abandoning her for your truck.
