So if I leave it running to run into a quickshop real quick and someone decides to hop in they can drive off and it wont shut down? Guess I wont be doing that anymore. You would think that it wouldnt be able to go out of park or something.

You should leave the ikey with the valet and take the metal key after securing your car with it.

If you think about it, the same thing can happen if one leaves it running with the key in the ignition.

After the car beeps a few times when you get out of the car, you can lock it while its running.

Also The glove box is locked by the key, so you should leave the ikey. Unless you dont care.

I dont valet so it dont matter.
