disabling the auto window on door open?
First things first, your tint shop should have done this for you if they are as good as you say. This feature is on more then our cars. BMW, Vetts, etc etc...
Anyways.....
Stuff you will need:
Small bottle of Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo
Spray Bottle
Warm water
Clean towel
Blue painters tape
Now, mix a few (2-3 drops) drops of baby shampoo to a full spray bottle with warm water in it. Shake well.
Open your doors
clean around the door pin with the solution, wipe clean and let dry for a few minutes (the drier the better the tape will stick). Repeat on the other side.
Grab your tape now and push in the door pin with your finger. This will make the window roll up. Proceed to place the tape over the door pin keeping it pressed in. You may want an assistant for this part. Use a few pieces of tape, one wont work.
Lastly, close your door. Dont worry, the glass wont catch on anything. Its heavy enough to angle down and clear the molding.
Lastly, take your car back to your tinter and make them strip the tint and do them again. If the tint is pealing or has moved due to the window moving you will have problems later.
Hope that helps.

Pulling your door panel off would be easier then putting on a few pieces of tape in your door jam?
Actually, with good window film, it takes at least 3-4 days for the water to evaporate. No matter how much water you try to get out of it. Thats a long time to drive without a door panel.

Good tip
Most of us have tint on our doors and I personally didn't have issues when my tint was put on, seriously doubt if you will either....
Disconnecting the battery for any length of time will cause you more problems than it's worth....bad idea!

The tinting on my passenger side window has peeled up right at the base for this very reason. Was the tinting done poorly? I don't know, it was on when I bought the car. (I HATE window tinting). But, the thing is, this little window up/down thing serves absolutely no purpose and I still think it is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on any car. Was it supposed to impress anyone?
Plus, OP's car has already been sitting for a day.
that or disconnect the window motor connector after takin the door panel off. but i believe disconnecting the door switch would physically be easier although it'd prolly mess with your security system.
