Repaint is the only fix. Whatever chemical it was that dripped on your car melted the clearcoat and it rehardened after being altered chemically. Most liley it was brake fluid. You can get it back to close, but it will always be a slightly different color since the clear has been tinted. Sorry this happened. You need to call insurance. This will most likely not raise your rate.

Just got back from DC motors Detailers, they said its repairable and they suspect it was engine degreaser, they gave me a little sample of what they could do and i like what they did, so they said to come back for a full detail. Which im going to. forgot to take some pictures, but they had some Ferrari and porches being worked on but heres the site if your wondering what they have.
