Somebody DENTED my G and did not leave note..can it be fixed?
According to nogoodname, yes they would. lol
I do a lot of videos so there will be a lot of video with this car in full HD, so you can see every little flaw. I'm just a little self conscious about showing my baby to the work with damage like that.

I'm starting to find that diy technique that uses compressed air and a blow dryer online but I can find the video. I'm pretty sure I remember a video demonstration. In the video I remember the dent fixing itself by popping out on it's own. Amazing but I'm not too sure about heating up my paint!
In the diy video I saw, I don't think any tools were used. Just blow dryer, compressed air mostly. Not sure what else, but don't remember any tools.
Can't believe I still can't find the video yet. I did find a couple of people who mentioned this technique but not the video.

heat gun the dent for a few minutes then immediately after hit it up with a bottle of compressed air turned upside-down so that cold liquid stuff shoots out. Make sure to spread the liquid evenly around the dented area when you are spraying. This expansion and retraction on the metal MAY cause it to "pop" back into place, maybe. Try this first as it is the cheapest method.
another trick if there is adequate surface area behind the dent and it is accessible is to deflate a similar sized ball (soccer ball, football, basketball, etc..) stick it behind the affected area of the quarter panel making sure the air nozzle is exposed and re-inflate it using an air compressor. Monitor the re-inflation and you may see it slowly begin to push the dent back out. From here hand control the air pressure with a hand valve or whatever to get it pushed all the way out. There may still be small creases in the metal and some spider webbing on the paint but it'll look a lot better then what you have going on now.
I've been going to my paintless dent removal guys called DENT MAN since '92 when I brought my Z home with a small dent above the passengers door handle. They do incredible work, cost is between $65 & $75 per panel. The location of your dent along with it's size might be a PIA for them, couldn't hurt to inquire/ask.

None of the crap on YouTube works. None on the nonsense diy stuff you pick up at pep boys works. The best fix for small dings is dentwizard or other reputable pdr services. $100 bucks and call it a day. A master tech can knock out a ding to where you would never know it was there. Dry ice, hair dryer/compressed gas bs only works to pop out big, smooth dents and still leaves imperfections/dings from whatever caused the dent in the first place. Might as well use a toilet plunger.

That totally sucks!! the same thing happened to me. I had to have the whole side color matched because the dent was on the rear quarter panel. Cost me $500 to fix a 4" dent. I feel your pain
Sad truth is that respect is out of fashion today. Everybody is on first name basis, people are interrupting your conversations without saying excuse me, people are honking at you while your G is stuck in the snow...anything goes. Who cares how hard you worked for your car. It's not THEIR car and that's all that matters. Bunch of G Haters!!
