Is the G35 your daily driver?
yup DD love it but i WISH i had another DD not to put a ****load of miles on the G or in the winter cuz in Mass. we get a northeaster like every other ****in day -__- G doesnt not like any weather thats not warm and sunny
Yep Yep I DD my G usually over 1000 miles a week. I bought it in '08 with 45,000 miles. It now has over 120,000 with no problems. I have other cars but I find myself always in the G because it is the funnest to drive. I have thought about buying another G for the Mod fever and to be a true weekend warrior. i bought a civic 6 months ago thinking I would just use that for a dd. I am now working on turning that into a track car

Yup my DD all day everyday too and from work/school
& wherever I need too go. And love EVERY moment!
This is my fav car, so when it dies, I'll still swap/rebuild my motor and DD it for another 200k.

I've never understood the idea of having a car that doesn't serve the purpose of getting used often. If the worry of damage bothers you that much, then you probably shouldn't be driving. There are many things that can wreck your car, not just some rare guy with a key.
If I owned a 911, GTR, Z06, etc., it would get daily driven. Winter too. I think it would be awesome to be cruising snow-covered streets in a 911-4S or GTR on snow tires and watch the jaws drop. I like nice cars and want to drive them. If it gets ding, a scratch, hits water buffalo, etc, I'll get it fixed. Cars that get driven, have a little road rash here and there, and aren't wiped down with diapers are far more pleasing to me. I'm probably in the minority on this. Show cars do NOTHING for me.
Don't get me wrong, I like driving a nice car. My friend's think my G is mint, but it has lots of little clear coat scratches, 5+ small dings/creases, a sand blasted Aero bumper, chips in the hood, etc. I love it and welcome the minor damage and gives the car character.

My G is my dd as well. It's about a mile or two to work, although sometimes I ride my bike. I walk/bike/bus to school everyday, didn't feel like buying a parking pass and then not be able to find a spot.
While that isn't much driving, my drive home is about 140 miles one way, which I would like to visit at least once or twice a month.

G35 April-October. 98 Civic Nov-march. We have brutal winters in northern IN. My girl gives me $hit because I always park it so far out in parking lots so no ones messes with it or opens their doors into it. Saw a 7 year old open a car door into a white bentley drop top and it's haunted me ever since.
I drive my G most days during the spring, summer and fall months. I drive my Cadillac SRX during the winter and on days when the weather is nasty or if I need to take several people somewhere.
