Mine is my daily driver and has been great so far. As long as you take care of them they will last a long, long time. Unfortunately I just got yet another door ding from some dips*** yesterday, but at least those are fixable for relatively cheap.

With rising gas prices, I'm driving my '93 Celica 5-spd convertible as my DD. It's saving me $$$ with a 60 mile round trip daily commute.

G is wwaaayyyyy more fun to drive though...except when the top is down on the 'vert

I bought my G35 to be my DD. 80 miles round trip Monday-Thursday. My garage queen is the 2010 Sierra, which also has terrible gas mileage, which is why I needed a DD

DD since I bought it, just finished my 3rd northern Michigan winter with it. I say "just" because we got 6+ inches of snow on April 20th.

For the first 2 years, daily commute was about 22 miles round trip. Since December, commute shortened to 2 miles round trip (moved into 115 year old "new" house in town and moved offices). That's about 5K fewer miles a year. Gas usage has plummeted, but so have the mpg since the car is never warmed up. This winter, the temp needle rarely moved off the bottom of the gauge before I was parking at work.

I've got a '94 B4000 pickup as my DD. Mainly had it just so I wouldn't have to drive my Mustang I used to have in awful weather, and that just carried over when I got my G35.

Also didn't want to have my G down here at school with me full time since parking is so awful. Next year it will be though since I'll have my own place.
