HELP!! 2005 G35 Aftermarket Projector headlight problem.
So, I'm a total mess right now. I recently bought these headlights (http://spyderauto.com/product.php?id...G35032D-DRL-BK) for christmas a couple months ago and been having problems with them ever since. I should have fixed the problem a long time ago, but i'm so god damn lazy. Well my problem is that my friend who went to school in cars and does a lot of work with cars as a hobbie installed my new aftermarket headlights. The problem thats lingering and recently i've been lucky to not be pulled over was that my lights shine a layer of a purplish blue color. Up close the lights look white but when you stand far away they have a blueish glare..It's annoying people on the road and mostly me. I bought them on ebay by a private seller and its been to long to return the lights or refund them.
Also, i recently replaced the D2r bulbs which made them brighter and the blue layer even worse!

Does anyone know the problem with my lights or may it just be a defect?

You should be using D2S bulbs in those projectors, D2R bulbs are for reflector based headlights. That may help reduce the blue in the cutoff, maybe not. If you space the bulb back a bit it may also help, like put a small piece of wire under the shoulder of the bulb before you install it.
