Hi, my warranty on 2007 g35 coup manual ends in two months. I am currently at 55,000 miles.

Is there anything specific i should ask the dealer to check before the warranty runs out??

P.S. I ALREADY DID OIL CONSUM. TEST AND IT PASSED. IT USES A BIT BUT FAR FROM WHAT'S CONSIDERED "A LOT".

 

Have them check the compression rod bushings, the valve-cover gasket and the spark plugs for oil.

 

do you want to extend your warranty?

 

Not to derail the thread, but I just took mine in to get some work done before my warranty expires in April and dude tried to sell me an extended warranty. Does anyone recommend this?

 

I extended, since crb's go out consistently, along with the seat rails, etc, etc, etc. By the time the extension expires, i will sell and jump into a newer g.

 

And go through the same thing all over again? I think by that time, it would be time to jump ship.

 

I also own an 07 coupe and my warranty expires this year. How do I find out exactly what month it expires since I bought the car used? Can I just ask the dealer and they will know by the vin number?

 

dealer will know by vin just talk to the service dept.
