Man I hope he gets back to you. They were busy last week when I was there so maybe he's just behind on his e-mails. You might want to make a follow up call to check in.
EDIT!:
Hi Harvey,
The free v2 to v3 upgrades will start shipping next week, we will email
you this Friday for more information before we ship the upgrades.

It took him a while to respond to my initial email, so maybe give it some time - or give him a call.
Here's the email:
Hi,
We are getting ready to send out the upgrade kit to upgrade v2 front
upper arms to v3 spec. The upgrade kit will consist of:
New ball joint plate with new ball joint bearing
New bearings for the inside pivot points
The new bearings are all 3/4" bearings (upsized from 5/8" on the v2
arms) and use a revised liner composition with carbon-fiber and teflon
to eliminate the squeeking noise.
Before we send out the upgrade kit, we will need to confirm your
purchase of the v2 front upper arms. If you had purchased the v2 front
upper arms directly with us (SPL PARTS), we can simply look up your
purchase. If you purchased the arms from a dealer, please send us a
copy of your invoice.
If you had purchased the arms from a third party (eg. used, etc), we
will require a deposit of $120, which we will refund when the old ball
joint plates are returned to us as confirmation of purchase. This
upgrade kit cost over $120 to manufacture, due to the cost we need to
ensure there are no frivolous claims, which is why we are requiring the
deposit.
Our v2 front upper arms were made with 2 different bolt patterns for the
ball joint plates, so we will first need you to identify which bolt
pattern you have. Attached are 2 pictures:
Type A = the gold colored bolts are offset slightly to the bottom of the
bridge, the washers on the bolts hang off slightly on the bottom of the arm
Type B = the gold colored bolts are centered on the bridge
So please reply with the following following information:
Name
Shipping address
Contact phone number
Bolt pattern -- Type A or Type B
Copy of invoice if purchased from a dealer
If you are located outside continental USA, additional shipping charges
may apply.
Sincerely,
Dr. Aikmeng Kuah

I sent email to Kauh on Sat (in response to his email posted above) with shipping info and notification that mine are type B (bolt head centered on bridge vs type A which is offset low)...
Today got an email that it is in Fed Ex system and being shipped today!

One has the bolts more centered while the other is closer to the edge?

"Type A" sits close enough to bottom edge that the washer hangs over a bit - so you can feel it ...
I didnt even bother getting under the car, I just lifted it enough to stick my hand under the a arm and feel the inside under-edge - I could feel mine were centered (thus being "Type B")...
Hope that makes sense... Kuah's email will make more sense since it has pics.
