My family lives in japan. No contact with them since this morning due to the government shutting down the power plants. To prevent a meltdown is what im told. If there isnt any flooding in certain parts most are without electricity anyways.

All those cars... holy crap.

Yeah - I have some extended family there- thankfully some are okay, others I haven't heard from yet.
