thanks Tim ^^ the engine bay has been on hold for a while .. im trying to get the fittment on the car perfect and just ordered new coils but after i finish im jumping back into the engine modding lol

I searched around and couldn't find any info, if the NRG oil catch cans are baffles. Do any of you guys with NRG happen to know? I like the NRG can, I just want one that is baffle.

Silencer where are you going to move your catch can when you get your Vortech?

no bafffles in my nrg... anyone know what i need to change these s**tty lines that come with it over to the ss braided lines? mine were destroyed under boost, i guess 11 pounds was a little much for it

Don't feel bad, my "coke machine" lines collapsed after 2 weeks and I'm mostly stock. All you need to swap over is the braided lines. You can use your stock clamps like I did. Or you can be a big baller and get some fancy fittings like Earl's to make it look better.

Mine with stock clamps:



Silencer's with the Earl's fittings (or something like them):

^Yes those are Earl's hose clamps.

OP, I won't tell you how much I paid for my catch can if $120 is a "pretty high price"...LOL

^He could if he wanted to, there is one FS in the marketplace right now. I wouldn't advise it though, its a waste unless you have a heavily modded engine bay or an ARC theme.

Fawck with hoses and fittings that's almost $800. That's half of my Cali trip fund, but damn it would look good in my bay.

You could a lot of parts that improve the performance of your car for that much money I guess that is why it took me so long to get one. Every time I looked at one I would end up buying go fast parts instead.....they do look sick though.

Modding on a budget always suckss.... Plus I'm kinda cheap so that's pretty high for me haha. So definitely no ARC for me lolol

Ended up getting the one from Ebay. Looks pretty slick haha.

Yes I've changed out the retarded coke machine lines already haha. One of them already started to collapse like a week after I put it in. Got some nice metal braided ones from Pepboys and they work nicely
