Oil catch cans

Yes, I've used the search option and it's hard to come up with legit results.

Searched through Ebay and was thinking maybe this one in blue?

Then there's the NRG one, but heard that one has fitment issues

I'd really want one of these because that would fit perfectly, but that's a pretty high price to pay for an oil catch can.

Those Infiniti catch cans look nice and the price is right. I had an NRG and could'nt make it fit where I wanted so I almost gave it away. I found a C6 Vette catch can that was smaller in diameter and it works for me. Go with the Infiniti cans, it's not rocket science just a ....... can!

Yeah I heard about the C6 Vette ones haha. Those are tiny, but more priceyy. Like double the first one I linked up haha, but well I just wanted to make sure that I got a decent one that wouldn't leak or anything because there's a ton of other ones on ebay for alot cheaper, but i'd be afraid to try my luck with those haha

Thanks for the input though. I'll probably go with the infiniti one

Pretty high in price?!? Really? That is dirt cheap from the one i bought. I have one from Weapon R that i want to sell that just sits in my room. No where to put it on the car. Just collecting dust now.

The NRG one is perfectly fine. I have one and just modified the bracket a little bit and PRESTO! I mounted mine right in front of the timing cover on the radiator support.

I have the NRG as well, just used a different bracket to mount it where I wanted it.

$120+ for an oil can is pretty high The NRG one isn't TOO bad.. that's llike $80 or around that.

My 03 Sedan doesn't have that much room though. Like i'd like to mount it on the front like that, but there's something in the way.

I rock the NRG can in the same location as Silencer. No fitment issues, but I did have to trim the tab off that sits on top of the radiator support for it to go there. And yes, I have removed all OEM stickers.

I guess the only problem with the NRG is that you gotta have an aftermarket intake to mount it on the support.

Here's a dated picture, but it shows you what I'm talking about.

There's this huge mechanical fan that's RIGHT under the "air intake" that keeps the radiator cool so I kind of doubt that there's enough room to put the NRG there. The 5 Zigen one is really unique though cause it's pretty thin and it'd fit perfectly between that spot and the mounts just like it was made for it to be there.

Idk if other 03s have the mechanical fan or if it's just the earlier 03s. Everything after has an electrical fan and that saves a TON of room. You can see from comparing the pics.

The overall internal construction of the C6 filter is very impressive. I have one and tapped in a sight glass. I don't even know if other catch cans have any internal parts :S

Install was a snap.

I have this small one. Just looking for a damn bracket so I can mount it. Looking for a bracket just like the c6 one. The others are just to "bling" for me. I should have gotten the c6 one and save me the trouble. But this was half the price and has a sight tube.

It's 2.5" x 5.5"
