If you are just replacing stock for stock there should be no difference in look. Fitment is another matter for any aftermarket body parts.

I think he's scared that the two different materials are going to look different maybe because of the texture or something. The answer no, if the shop is good and the paint matches you'll be fine.

And as said: Fitment is dependent on the quality of the part. Looks would be more dependent on the prep and paint work. And without knowing which bumper and sides you are talking about, we cannot say if they will flow together.
