The decision shouldn't be that difficult, do you want to change the art pipes to the OE cats every time you renew your registration? With BERK'S HFCs you just need to be concerned if they're going to look under your G or not. Where I go for SMOG checks there not concerned with anything but the results of the sniffer. ART pipes may be cool but you'd still have stinky exhaust and be illegal regardless of where you live!

That is a good idea for some, but here in crappy VA they only do a visual inspection when the car is up on the lift... If there is anything but the OEM cats/heat shield the car fails. The OEM cats can be completely gutted inside but as long as they are present, the car passes. Complete B.S. buts its what I have to deal with.
