When I am home, my moms Altima gets kicked out and my car goes in.

Currently at school I am in a dorm so I get shafted to a parking lot.

Next year we rented a duplex though, and it has 2 garages so my new G will be covered.

I have mine in the garage whenever there's not an engine sitting in the bay it goes in. When it's not in the garage it's under a car port. doesn't bother me on the theft part because I live in a quiet neighborhood 20mins away from the city.

My two garage spots are occupied... So no.

But it's just an old G, not like it's a $100,000 Porsche..

I can tell you this, when i move out i will be looking for a place w/ a garage. That is for sure. I am getting tired of washing my car every week.

I'm moving to OH in a week and loved the idea of living in the city, BUT the idea of parking in a public downtown garage changed my mind. So I ended up finding a place 25 minutes from downtown with individual garages instead.

I hate leaving my G outside because the in- law garage is full of junk. But I stay in nice quiet neighborhood and in the end of the court.

When I go back to my parents house over the week end my G parked inside with the Benz and Acura!

OP, just use a car cover! The downside of that is putting on and taking it off. Also, if you live in a area that have high winds. Car cover can fly right off.

everything
I think my car has sat outside over night, maybe 3 times, since Ive owned it(out of state trips). Otherwise its in the garage every night. Definitely NEVER owning a house without a garage. Looking to buy a truck again so 3 stalls is next.

Even when I was renting, the apartment complex needed to have a garage or else I would look elsewhere. When I still lived with my parents, I didn't have a nice car so that was not a problem. If I bought a nice car while living off of my parents, they would have kicked me out or charged me rent.
