Triptronic/Sport Mode Question
It's 100% fine to put it in sport mode/manumatic mode while driving. The manumatic mode will downshift for you if you come to a stop, but it will NOT downshift (my car at least, I assume it is the same for everyone) if you floor it. I like that it does not downshift. It gives you more control and allows you to stay in the gear you are in, which simulates what happens in a manual car, which is the whole point of manumatic.

The first time you forget, it will remind you....lol The engine cut out on me. It was an 'Oh shyte" moment. Also remember to watch your oil when you drive like this. You will burn through a lot faster than you think.
The engine cut out on you? How so? And thanks for the tip about the oil, I am actually in need of an oil change right now!
Maybe only '03s don't downshift? That's kinda gay.
