engine shield....can i take iy off and leave my engine bare??

engine shield....can i take iy off and leave my engine bare??

can i possibly take the engine cover shield thing off and not put a different one on?...would it matter?

Many people keep it off, I will keep mine on, debris hits it all the time.

Also it makes the car achieve zero lift at high speeds.

Yes I am lols, Engine cover, you said shield so I automatically assumed the undertray :P

Yea you can take that off no problem, I took mine off when I got it.

Amazing how the wrong terminology can lead to a whole different answer. Taking off your engine cover might allow your plenum to run slightly cooler so they're advantages to removing it!

Technically, that would be the engine cover. Taking it off will make no difference as it is for looks.

The "undertray" or "undershroud" is what nissan calls a Splash Shield. If you need a quality piece instead of the plastic one, let me know.
