Sorry for the thread-jack but this debate comes up in every storage thread I've seen.
Suspensions have rubber bushings which are designed for the loads placed on them when the car is standing on its wheels. When the car is jacked up, the springs push the suspension down and the forces are in an opposite direction to what the bushings are designed for, sometimes pulling instead pushing, etc. The stress can damage them over enough time. A couple of months probably won't matter, long term, who knows.

If you want it safe, just put the jack stands under the suspension arms so the suspension still bears the weight of the car. If you get it just like 1cm off the ground, even if someone bumps the car, it will only fall a tiny bit and won't get damaged.

The idea of jacking the car up is to prevent the tires from flat spotting.

I store my G every winter, so 5-6 months each year. Like others have said air up the tires to 40-45psi, battery out, stabil in, and fresh oil. As for mice, I use dryer sheets to keep them away. I put a few in the trunk, under the hood, and throughout the interior. I also place one over my cabin air filter. Lastly, I stuff the exhaust and intake with microfiber cloths with dryer sheets wrapped up in them. Good Luck!

I guess I dont know what you're asking? Ye I have access to my dads garage, but I wont be here, and neither will my dad. He works for an oil company so he is gone for long periods of time.

In addition to pulling the battery, putting it where it can be tended to by one of those little solar battery minders is a good way to ensure it stays good.

Vacuuming it out *thoroughly* is important too - even with the desiccant any food in there's going to mold up.

Run some good trim detailer and such on the exterior weather seals too.
I have a Battery Tender JR for it with the quick disconnect already wired in.

I'll check and see where I could place stands or even blocks to hold it up by the suspension and not the frame.

Thanks for the replies. I guess in reality the car wont be stored the entire time, it will be heading to the shop around xmas to get work done to it. I'm hoping to see ~500whp ready to go in the garage when I get home
