thats pretty awesome.. i've daydreamed of transplanting a bigger engine in my G, but the amount of fabrication work required would be beyond my skill.

From the updates that I saw on their Facebook page, they've just now started doing the wiring. Should be completed in 2 weeks.

I am definitely eager to see the completion of this build and look forward to the full build images along with the build information.

This car is by no means a SHOW QUEEN!! It gets driven about 4,000 miles a year. It's just that clean. I will post the build when the car is up and running. We will be installing the wiring this weekend and should be ready to fire by mid next week. I plan on make a complete engine swap kit fir the Hemi if people are intrested. Please stay tuned I am as eger as you to hear it come to life. I have only weekend time invested in this build and so far I have spent 9 days on it from the pictures you see. This build could not have been done without the help of a few friends and the WIFE. Thank you and please stay tuned!!

Just my opinion but that's way to much weight on the front end to be a pleasure to drive. The Hemi has always been refereed to as the "Elephant" motor due to the weight! Doing a swap I'd much rather see a LS6 GM motor inside the engine compartment, more HP and far less weight.

Good job making a mid 60s reference on engine weight. Maybe you should look at modern engines before making such statements.

Gary
modern day 5.7/6.1/6.4 liter hemis weigh in a 560 lbs fully dressed
LS6 weighs in a 497 lbs fully dressed

~63 lbs is far from the 'massive' difference you make it out to be.

I wish that was true the car got into an accident on the way to a show in OCMD. The straps broke in the trailer and the car lurched forward crushing the front bumper. Then it slammed back and cracked the rear. The car has a custom paint job which cannot be blended soooooo yea....Long story short its in the works. They said the car will be unveiled by next year. You will see it in a few of the magizines, it has been getting a lot of attention.
