You Know You're Bored with the G When...
You can't get past 5 threads on Driver without getting ADD and leaving to a different site of new hobby...
I used to spend a bunch of time on G and Z sites (mostly this one) researching and sharing new ideas... I've become immune now and can't stay interested - even as I type this I can't wait to go research new Red Dot sites and after market mags for AR
(and finding low priced ammo so I know if this weekends gun show has good deals).
I have a new addiction (well it's an old one - but it takes all my time, interest and money now)... But GG is getting new Racing Brake Akebono Two Piece Rotors (so all is not lost
)

I'm going to that gun show tomorrow and taking my gunsmith with me. Friday is the first day so it shouldn't be as crowded like the weekend. What I need is about 120 rounds of 7.7 *** for my custom Arisaka type 99. I'd like to find a new stock and save the original in it's present state. I don't recall being bored with SLICK cause I always find a new mod every few months to keep my interest alive and well. My new burnt titanium shift **** kept made me happy for several weeks....

)Also need another Red Dot site, new stock, AR mags, some lens cap covers (two pair now that I just ordered a second Red Dot
) some Snap Caps, and I'm sure a bunch of **** I don't even know I "hafta have" yet
But I'll take the truck - I might be bored with the G, but I wont let it get bumped & bruised in a parking lot like that! I still like it after all
I got bored with mine, and sold it xD.. then bought another one. Way too much love for the G..

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

You buy a new shift ****, emblemless grill, and JDM tails even though you vowed not to buy any mods this summer to save for the trip to the GTG meet in Sept.
are you talking about the Turners See & Shoot gun fair?... The gun show I meant is @ OC Fairgrounds (Crossroads of the West), but its only Sat-Sun... I'm going early Sat to get 1K rnds of 5.56 and maybe some more 7.62x39 ('cause the case of 1260 rnds I just got isn't enough
)

Yea it's the Tuners fair, I just need to find some ammo along with another safe I ran out of room with this one. Hope Obama allows those Korean M1s in the U.S., buy one cheap and rebuild it. That's something I really enjoy doing and they're so accurate as we found out in WWII*Korea*Nam.

Should be good times! But I read that you need to take $100-$200 cash for ammo just to shoot enough cool stuff... plus I suspect the lines will be crazy (that's the main reason I decided against going).
If it wasnt the same weekend as Crossroads of the West show at OC Marketplace, I might have gone. The OC show has real good deals on ammo - but it gores quick so gotta get there early... and I need ammo more than another gun (I'm afraid of what I'll end up with if I go to the Turners event
Have fun! Take vids if you shoot the big ****!
I struggle with staying excited with my G all the time.
The enjoyment was rekindled lately after spending the entire winter running back and forth to Seattle in our Scion (mileage of course) and driving my 4X4 (crappy winter up here this year)..
Pulled the G back out of the garage a few weeks ago and am loving it again.
I still can't help thinking about moving on though. I've had her a long time and I fight the new car itch. The only thing stopping me (I think) is I love not having any bills.

For example - Bulls Eye Sports is in Riverside; I'd never go all the way out there to the store, but they have best pricing I've seen locally on things like quad rails and snap caps (small stuff like that)... Also, places like Ammo Bros and LAX firing range where I would normally buy ammo (if not online), have really good deals at the show... and places like Millsurp only do shows (they have great ammo pricing too).
With ammo, it sells so quick they dont have to haggle... the other stuff, like I said it's just like buying at their normal retail location - so the places with the best prices get my biz... If I didnt need ammo, I probably wouldnt go... even though there are good deals online, it's easier to get everything at once (accessories & ****)... Also, I have three Wasr10 mags that I'm gonna try to trade or sell (it's a good place for rare/uncommon items, which single stack 10 rnd AK mags kinda are).

)... I have an AK (variant) too - Zastava PAP (Serbian/Yugo), I love it! I've shot more out of it than anything else I have (and its the newest) so easy to go through tons of ammo with that thing... I suspect the M&P 15 will be the same way ~
