so they most be good!
I did like mine as well they are a great all season tire. However if you do any "spirited driving" these do have a fairly soft sidewall.

Will that sidewall cause issues? Or just squishy steering / hard to find the limit?

I am disappointed to see that some of the recommended tires - the Hankook V12 for example - are not available for my stock 17 inch wheels. I am looking for a set of summer tires that are sticky, quiet and get decent mileage. And most of all - that fit my car!

True....^....but like 16" not everyone makes them in all sizes. I had a '72 BRE 510 with 7"X13" Americans those BFGs were what 225/50X13? Try and find those today....

haha - oh, you mean that odd! Yes, apparently a little narrower range of choice with the 17s. The Hankooks that are available for my car do not receive glowing reviews.

Bridgestone RE760 Sports for my summer tires (245/45-18). Very smooth, good grip, very little wear halfway through my third summer with them.

The word "best" is a term of perspective. But I can vouch for Hankook V12
