Does anyone elses G bog out when its raining?

Whenever it rains hard my car bogs out..and if i rev it..it only revs to 2500 rpms then sounds like its hitting the rev limiter. This all started after getting the Seibon TS carbon fiber hood..i figured rain was getting into the engine bay..so i took it too my auto body place and they sealed up the slits in the hood (i don't think they let water in anymore but could be wrong). My car is still doing the same thing. Has this ever happened to anyone/ does anyone know what the problem is?

Is possible that water is somehow getting into your open air filter box?

Try shooting a stream of water from a hose then lift the hood and see if water is getting somewhere that it shouldn't.

This is interesting because even if water did get in from the hood, how much is actually getting in and where is that water getting to? I can't imagine that much water getting through the vents on the hood...

And are you talking about heavy rain? Or even just light showers?
