Removing/Placing Rear Emblems?

Hey guys, I own a 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan. I was wondering what type of a job it was to remove the "G 35" on the back of the car and what it would require to put them back on if I wanted to.

Is it hard to remove/replace the rear emblems? Can you explain the process? Im really wondering if its something I could do on my own or if I should bring it into Infiniti.

Thanks everyone in advance!

If you ever plan to put them back on just take good measurements of where they were. You might see some ghosting were the paint is not faded where the emblems were don't be scared it will go away eventually.

Welcome to DRIVER tsmehl....=oD

Keep in mind the vid says coupe some emblems on the sedan along with the side molding are secured with more than tape which gives debadging a whole new challange. SEARCH is your friend here on DRIVER, use it often!

When you search, go to advanced search and choose RELEVANCY instead of Last Posting Date in the Sort Results By category. It will yield much better results.

Still not sure why Mods dont change this, it would get rid of all the stupid "Search" flamewars

Good Flip, even when you do SEARCH unless you know the correct terminology we use you'll never find what you're looking for. Only way to survive is to read every thread along with the posts, that worked for me on five different sights. I haven't seen this used in a long time! lmao

I sprayed some goo gone then flossed them off.
Worked great, then painted them a dark grey and re-attached.

Was pretty easy.

Not sure how the sedans are but the coupes letters have little indentions on the bottom of each letter so you stick a very small screwdriver in the indention and pull away from the car. They pop right off. Only 2 letters left residue on the car. Rest came off clean.
