Yep, pedals are still fully functional...the only thing is short people can't drive it. If you slide the seat too far forward, it pushes on the lever and applies the brakes. I figured that out the hard way. My GF drove it 20 miles with the brakes on.

....The bike videos are amazing! Maaaaajor props to you man. Couple of questions.

1. How long was it before you got back to riding? And what was your intial feeling/impression? Were you nervous, anxious, excited?

2. What exhaust do you have on your G?

So I also have a black 06 coupe and I really thought it was very interesting to see how the location of the switches in the G (things I don't even think about) are placed in such a manner that allows you more easily maneuver yourself and your wheelchair into/out of the car. I can't think of any other cars off the top of my head that have the switches on the inside of the seats.

Out of curiosity, did you have the G before the accident, or did you buy it because you found it convenient to your needs (and it wasn't the typical handicap van)?

Either way, your spirit is an inspiration. I sent these videos to a friend of mine that was paralyzed in a car accident right after high school. He has been driving a van for about 12 years and was super excited know that he could drive a sports car. You opened up a world of possibilities for him.

Very inspiring stuff! I'm glad to see that an accident didn't end your passion
