Shift knob question??

Shift **** question??
Will a front button AT shift **** from a 2003-2007 g work on a 2004 side button shift ****??

My son-in-law used my '04 coupe shift **** on his '03 sedan and they were activated different but interchangeable. It's my guess they're all the same from '03 thru '07 just mechanically different but still use the center actuator.

No Tim, I love mine more! Funny how the smallest mod can renew the joy of driving our rides. My wife's response was, "Oh that matches your exhaust!" But I sensed some sarcasm in her voice....
