Recently I've noticed a squealing/squeaking noise coming from the driver side of the car. I am not sure if it is inside or outside because I only hear it when the car is in motion on the street or on the freeway. It sounds like something is loose. I am thinking the belt but when I sit in the car and listen, it sounds as if it is coming from behind the driver seat on the left side. It only happens when its in motion on the freeway and about 80% of the time on the streets. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

There's only two things that make a noise like what you're describing, belts because sound will travel or compression rod bearings which also squeak.
