where have the days gone????
i remember the days when the vendors were advertising and it was HKS, TIEN, ENDLESS and VOLK.
now i see TENZO, WEAPON R, LAMBO DOORS, MISHIMOTO.
how long before we see specials on APC and pep-boys becomes a vendor?

As sad as it is, it's nothing more than the simple business model of supply and demand. Where the customers have a demand is where the merchants provide the supply straight and simple. Vendors are in business to make money or they wouldn't be around, so they advertise their most popular products in order to pique poeple's interest.
It's not the vendor's fault, they're just providing what the majority of the community wants. The vendors still sell the brands you listed, they just make more money through quantity over quality. It's easier to sell 4 sets of Tenzos than 1 set of Volks these days so of course they'll advertise what sells. If there's blame to be laid for this, it falls squarely on the consumers shoulders.

HKS is no longer in the U.S., and due to their Crappy quality control I wouldn't buy their products again. Mishimoto makes good stuff, I'll let you know for sure I'm using their oil filter plate for my gauge install.
We still have great sponsors that do installs and mods for those of you that need there assistance....fender rolling/wire tucks/detail work.

im not tryign to knock the sponsers at all thats all business but the community of people we used to get excited to see the mods and pictures now its just meh!
i think these cars are just at a point in there life cycle where civics were not all too long ago. where it is a younger target area that (not everyone) can not afford the top quality "baller parts" but still want to mod and thus creates the demand for low quality parts. parts by manufactures who not too far back this forum would have considered rice or pooo and would have flamed their users for days but are now the new norm.
