What Dash Kit Should I get?

I'm looking for a dash kit for the new head unit I'm getting. I was wondering everything I'd need. I want one that will come with the climate controls.

The unit I'm looking to get is either a:

- Kenwood- 50W X 4 Mosfet

-Pioneer 50W x 4 Mosfet

Please help I'd like to order the unit today. Thanks!

Search was used. I jsut need a link and information on what to get

Whats the model # of the headunits you're looking at? Are they double din or single? I personally would recommend the jdm double din dash piece. OEM quality and fitment....can't beat that.

No you won't. It has some cheap rubber button-ed version already in it. Read the thread again...it explains everything pretty well.

Go with the JDM and leave the Metra in the trash where it belongs. It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. With the G, you gotta pay to play, this aint no Honda.

I have a different out look on the metra kit

you can save about $100-$150 by going metra and get some decent mids

I don't even want to start this argument.

There is a new age group of owners who prefer X02s, metra, and CAI's.

Tis a sad time.

What happened to the dignity of buying name brand/OEM parts?

Now people are buying salvaged G's because it could compete with their 97 civic and putting **** parts on it.

Almost makes me want to sell mine, and I'm 18.

It pretty much comes down to money vs. how good you want it to look. The jdm kit keeps the oem look and quality, and you pay for it. The metra works, but is cheaply made and doesn't match very well. If you're not as concerned with quality or how it looks....definetly go with the metra...it will atleast get the job done. 9 times out of 10 you get what you pay for in car audio though.

You can get the 03-04 metra from crutchfield.com for under $100 if you purchase a headunit through them. Crutchfield.com is out of stock (or no longer carry) the 05-07 metra trim though.

Metra kits include a/c controls, unless you get somebody ripping you off, as they are part of the kit; in JDM trim, the a/c controls are a separate part, but places like Grubbs Infiniti will give you a good deal if you purchase them together.
