Beside the brake fluid is the clutch fluid in the engine bay for 04 coupe... It says use DOT 3 brake fluid?? is this correct or am i reading the cap wrong? Its a really dark thick fluid compare to brake fluid.

 

Brake/Clutch fluid gets dark after several tens of thousand miles and years of use. What's the age of your G35 and how many miles on her? All fluids in our Infinities are supposed to be replaced every 30K miles, if it's that dark it may have never been changed....

the brake/clutch fluid should be a light amber like the color of Budweiser. If its darker than that or 3 years old, change it. Maybe Chong can give you a hand.

 

Not a great idea........they'd light up and put the fluid in the wrong hole.
