Need some help...Problem with lock
I am having a problem with my driver side lock and am not sure what to do about it...
When I use my fob, sometimes my drivers side will lock and sometimes it won't. When it locks, it will never unlock when using the fob. I used to be able to insert the key into the door and unlock it manually but for whatever reason now when I put the key in the lock it won't turn. When my driver side locks the only way I can unlock it is to open the passenger side door and unlock it from the inside which is getting very annoying.
I know the lock actuator failing is a common problem with these cars, but it is troublesome to me that the actual lock mechanism isn't turning when I insert the key into the door.
Any suggestions?
