i live in MS and pay around $150 for full coverage from a company called USA Insurance. i recently got 4 tickets. one in my fiances civic. going 41 in a 30. the speed limit had just changed from 40 to 30 and in less than a mile i got the blue lights while turning into a parking lot. cop was a dick but, it was my first ticket in a few years so i didn't think much of it.
got 2 tickets from a state trooper. i had my cruise set on 79-80 on the interstate and got a ticket for doing 80 in a 70 and the a$$hole said i didn't pull over immediately so he gave me a second ticket for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
lastly, i was in the same county as the last tickets and the cop gave me a careless driving ticket for speeding. i was actually following along with traffic. i was so pissed off. i was thinking the cops in that county must all be dicks then the guy explained to me that there had been several deaths on the roads and the sheriff told all officers to crack down so i couldn't really get mad. the guy helped me out alittle. i'm sure this careless driving will be less expensive than the speeding. just sucks that i get all this within one month. at first i thought my car was bad luck. i really don't drive fast. i usually do the speed limit or 5-10mph over depending on what road i'm on. i drive on the highway and interstate mostly so i'm just flowing with all the other traffic and i never drive carelessly. i always wear my seat belt and use blinkers and i'm courteous to everyone else on the road. i don't weave in and out and cut people off. i'm a pretty safe driver all in all. i used to speed alot in my teens but, i don't anymore. i have more respect for others on the road.

Wow..... I wish I was paying as low as some of you:
23 Male
06 lakeshore slate coupe full coverage
0 moving violations (had a citation for front plates and the month tag was missing from my rear last year)
0 accidents
6 month premium is just about $700 ($232 bi-monthly)
That price isn't that bad for someone of my age in California

I was paying $160/month on my dad's insurance before I decided to see how much it would cost to go on my own. I'm getting renter's insurance discount, a discount for my degree, good driver discount, and a lo-jack discount. Make sure if you're shopping around you research and get all the discounts you possibly can.
