Got my first speeding ticket in Maryland....

Apperantly I was going 60, in a 50. Dude didn't even have the radar thing, so he couldnt know my speed.

He could have paced you.

Fight it if you think its worth it.

If not make sure you pay it on time to avoid a bench warrant.

Fight it. Chances are that he might not show up on trial court. If he does; either way you'll end up paying for the ticket.

your word agaisnt his

if you are really young you will probably lose and then have to pay court costs also.

every state and county are different.

Call your local city hall because someone is gonna post some crazy story and the facts may not be the same in your area

Cruisers are now equipped with lasers that fire forward and backward.

He knows how fast you were going.

If you fight it you're going to spend the money in court, maybe get the demerits knocked off and still have to pay the fine. Just pay it and don't **** up again.

This is America, losers don't pay court costs, that;'s only in logical countries

The judge may cut you a break for even bothering to show in court. If you have time, it's worth your while to go.

But like he said, contact city hall for particulars. Cops are trained to eyeball cars and know approximate speeds, you may have a case, you may not.

Go to court, discuss it MATURELY, use adult words, and you'll be fine.

10 mph over?!? The officer must have been bored. My advice: go to court. If the point gets knocked off & all you do is pay the fine then it's a WIN.

you were speeing...

you got caught..

and now you are complaining?

REALLY?

$90? suck it up and pay it. When you get into the big leagues and the tickets are in th hundreds, THEN its worth fighting in court.

I dont even think 10over carries any points/demerits, but check with your local jurisdiction!

seriously where do you live? $90 for a speeding ticket? In California $90 would be a parking ticket. In CA we use to get $90 speeding tickets...maybe back in the 80s LOL.
