So far everything is working out well today. After driving awhile I stopped to feel the difference in the hose on either side of the valve. It was cooler on the upper end of course. My plenum is still warm but compared to before I can keep my hand on the plenum now where before it'd burn. I dunno if it's because it's cooler out today and ive been driving or what.

I know when driving in cool weather if you stop and feel the TB its cool to the touch vs. with the coolant line open. But if your stuck at a light the heat soak from the engine will heat it up a bit.. Honestly the intake air travels so fast through the TB into the intake plenum I dont think it makes much difference..but on hot days everything helps I guess..

yea i don't think it helped much but, it's a simple mod and if you were to block the line with something you've got around the garage it's cost free. i mean i'm sure it helps a bit but, you wont notice the change.
