^no never heard from him but he had to have talked to PayPal since I only filed the claim yesterday and its already resolved in my favor...I wanted to talk to the a$$hole though! !

I wish I would've read this before!!! I sent him money for a headlight and now he's not taking any pm's!!!! Don't know if his mail box is full. Also don't know if I can contact PayPal cause I sent it as a gift.

NEVER send money as a gift, no matter how trustworthy you think the guy is.

after reading something like this, i'm relieved i was never taken advantage of. i've sent locksmith cash as a gift and fortunately everything turned out ok! =)

really glad it worked out for you, hope the same for the other guy. please excuse me if this makes me sound rude, but i use paypal all the time. and i was wondering why you would send it as a gift? i thought you only used that option if you actually wanted to 'give' someone money without expecting andy goods or services in return?

I think you send money as a gift so that neither the sender or the receiver of money gets charged the PayPal fees
