Unhappy How do I remedy This.

Hi everyone, I am new here and am so glad this site is here to help. I bought a G35 Coupe from NV and live in CA not knowing much of the registration laws. My car has no cat and has intake, headers, straight through exhaust.

Should I buy OEM stuff and refit in to smog it, or is it better to spend money on After market CA CARB legal parts and go at it that way.

Any thought and advice please.

Slip the guy some extra cash or go to the regional section of this forum and ask where people go and if there is any place around they go to locally to get someone to pass them

Chances are someone in the area may have OEM parts you can borrow for the test. You should be able to leave the headers on with no problem but replace everything else temporally and you should be good. If your mechanically inclined, I would try that route before paying $300+.
