acceleration problem!!!
hello i have a 2005 g35 6mt sedan... when i accelerate i get a lag before my tires spins. rpm jumps a couple thousand, then falls back when tires start spinning.... i am thinking it is time for new clutch/flywheel but dont want to waist my time and money if this is not the problem in the first place.. any feedback will be greatly appreciated thanx...

Clutch chatter is more than just noise. It's also vibration.
My evo had a 6puck clutch, act HD plate, lightweight flywheel and the chatter was incredibly bad. The clutch would yank and vibrate the car violently. As in, it felt like a magnitude 9.0 earthquake in your car whenever you start from a stop.
I've known people who complained about their cars making "loud" noises and lots of chatter, and after I rode with them, I laughed my *** off and told them to ride in my Evo. What they thought was "loud" was about a 0/10 compared to my evo's clutch noise and vibration.
To me, a clutch doesn't chatter until it vibrates the car enough to knock your foot off the clutch pedal if you're not used to it. (Yes it's that bad.) I've had to firmly plant my heel in the floor mat of the evo just to prevent the vibrations from kicking my foot off the clutch. I completely ruined a set of floor mats already (my heel had torn a hole in it) and it even tore enough to go through the actual carpet of the car itself.
If I switch to a different clutch and all I get is a little noise, then hallelujah praise the lord. That's 1000000x better than the chatter I had on my evo.
What I'm saying is, try driving a car that has some real chatter to it, and you won't complain so much.
