i am experiencing an acceleration lag as well, but from what i understand when a clutch wears out isnt there trouble shifting into gears, and a burnt smell of the disc? im able to put it in gear but as i accelerate and the tach rises up to about 3k, it drops a few notches and then rises up. i can feel the pull back that occurs, like its hesitating to accelerate. i dont want to just throw money at a clutch unless i know thats the issue. do you guys recommend any shops in so cal?

If you're smelling a burning smell thats the clutch wearing, not necessarily being worn out. If you hit the gas in gear and the RPM's go up but the speed does not, your clutch is most likely worn out
