Exhaust Tips on the G37S Sedan
The new tips were installed today. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work and the look. The tips were bought from MagnaflowDepot.com for $52/pair shipped. And the cut/weld job cost another $100.
From any angle other than straight-on, they look gorgeous. When viewed straight-on, however, they pretty much disappear, because of the single-wall design and the 45* angle.
Someday there will be a decent cat-back on the car, and I'll address this all over again with something new. But for now, I'm liking the look better than the OEM clamp-ons.
Here's a before/after, and a few more pics.

Just for the heck of it since I didn't throw them out right away... here's of picture of the OEM tip. It's a double-wall design, where the inner wall is welded to the tailpipe, and the outer wall is clamped on. Really tight, too.
Ugly, cheap looking things, IMO.

It's probably outside your budget for the mod, but have you considered a rear bumper swap?
