Does anyone out there who have a AMS hood have to do anything to latch it? I have one but it wont friggin latch no matter what i do!

Xin helped me shaved down a few prongs which helped clear some things but it still wont latch!

Any help would be appreciated.

 

you have the actual AMS or the replica called the "sl"?

i own the 1st ever made AMS and mine latched with 0 modification...

 

SL as in the hikattadori? The hood i have has the lines in the middle and everything so im sure its the AMS hood

 

^yeah ok, if you have the lines down the middle you have the original. Thats weird, all i had to do was only move UP my hood latch. Loosen the 3 10mm bolts holding the latch, slide it up, retighten bolts, shut hood. Thats all i did
