in our neighbourhood they are called "traffic calming" measures
in my mind... if we need to be calmed... stop pissing us off !!!
the noisy fart can hondas now drag race from one set of bumps
to the next createing twice as much noise... at 3am
the first bump they put in were too high... guess no one checked
with the Canadian DOT about maxumum height specs... soooo
they tore them out and redid them... wonder what that cost ?

Well the ones on my street remind you of the ramps used on the Dukes of Hazzard. They are about 2.5"/3" high, flat across the top and then drops off. I see people flying over them everyday with no problem. They do absolutely nothing to slow people down on my street. It pisses me off that people do it when there is a day care center on my street and they fly down road like a bat out of hell.
