Smile Giving back

I love this site an what the members make of it, the comoradarie and unselfishness is overwhelming...never seen anything like it so I guess it's not much but anyone interested in tattoos, and need something drawn up and don't want it drawn by the tattooist let me know...I'm a fairly decent artist drawn all of mine and I'll scan it then email or whatever!!LMK

Funny you mention this. As I've had an idea in my head for a while and can't draw worth a damn.

I'm sure your well aware of the military Helmet, Rifle, Boots thing thats very popular. I've always wanted something similar except with a Steering Wheel, Shifter, Pedals. No idea how to position or set that up but if your bored and want to draw something up feel free haha. Thanks.

That's an awesome idea!! I have it pictured perfect in my head I'll work on it tonight! Colors? Shaded? How big? Umm little more detail will help although I can just draw it up and let you see it and then if you want to change anything I'll go back and do it

I've always wanted some phrase or saying, or perhaps a tribute to a person in my life, but I can't think of a artistic way to write a simple passage. i was thinking perhaps do it in latin, or in japanese since the characters look like art themselves, but how would you personally make a phrase or passage in simple english look artistic? do you have any examples or ideas?

thanks!

Script! Curly font, not ugly old English but a mix of cursive and and curls I guess, what's the phrase? For a girl, wife, grandparents, significant other?

^^^ also like a lot of japanese or Chinese symbols are sayings not just words and incorporate things like if "they" are and artist draw the symbol with pencils and pens and paint brushes, or musical instruments and so on...make sense?

I was thinking just grey scale but if there are like small color accents i'm ok with that too. Ideally this would be placed on like my upper back shoulder area so about that size. Glad you immediatly visualize what I'm saying cuz I've had a hard time deciding on how I'd want it oriented!

everytime i draw it i end up not liking the way it looks but its not for me lol, what order do you want it. the steering wheel(helmet),shifter(rifle), and then pedeals(boots), and do you want numbers on the shifter handle if it works out, and also brake and gas or clutch pedal too lol

Yes that is the order I want. Kinda picked the shifter offset to the right a little (similar to looking at a dash from in the back seat if the drivers seat wasn't there). Numbers yes. 6-spd like the G shifter. 3 pedals because I only drive cars with three pedals haha. Post one of the ones you got done and maybe we can critique it together and come up with something that'll work. Thanks a lot again man.

I got one for you if you willing to take a shot at it.

I have been working with my Avatar trying to extract just eyes and mask on a right eye out of it and making it into a vector type of image. (sort of like a stencil)

Here if what I came up with but I don't find it intimidating enough.
I would not mind to see someone with artistic abilities to take a shot at it.

This is the Avatar

And this is my version of what I'm trying to achieve.

Quite the challenge still thinking of possible "hard" "soft" lines...kinda abstract, vector as if it were made into a stencil! Might be easier on the computer with photoshop or something similar, but I'll give it a shot, all so far will be uploaded tomorrow for a critique breakdown, changes, colors, etc...hopefully you guys like em!
