Left the oem ballasts in to keep it sealed. Cut off the hid harness plug and soldered in an h1 plug for new ballasts. Screwed ballasts on the backside of housing, and cut the high beam wire off of h4 bulb and soldered that to projector flap, so now i have bixenon projectors.

The projectors mounted through the oem hid mount pretty well, but getting the reflector shield over the big shrouds was a bit of a challenge when i glued the lense back on.

I havnt even adjust them and i can tell output is way better than my reflector hids.

The 3K lights are genuinely helpful in bad weather. They are worth it .

it's pretty cool driving around with golden headlights lol. I'm really diggin the 3000K. Thinking I might go up to a 55 watt ballast. I'll see after I do some night-time highway driving.

The higher wattage will decrease the output in your case, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you also swap the bulb.

how would it decrease output? I know it decreases life span though. Nevertheless, I just remembered that these are crap ebay HID bulbs from an old projector fog light project. drivers side was flickering and passenger didn't fire initially. I'll order some new bulbs soon here. Might just swap to 6000K's. The yellow is kinda cool though. Different I guess.

Hey does anyone have any info into wiring up a quad setup on the g35 sedan? I've done some Googling and can't find to much. The putting together part doesn't worry me it's the wiring that makes me nervous lol. So if anyone can send me in the right direction it'll be greatly appreciated
